Oggi la Corte di Giustizia Europea nell'attesissima sentenza che chiarisce in modo inequivocabile la diatriba tra UEFA e FIFA Vs la "superlega" ha bollato la posizione delle due ricorrenti come illegale per abuso di posizione dominante, statuendo che UEFA e FIFA non possono imporre sanzioni ai club che partecipano a competizioni alternative. Questa sentenza apre a scenari completamente nuovi, al momento difficilmente ipotizzabili. Nella norma giuridica che prevede " per estensione" l'applicazione di tale sentenza ad altre discipline forse si apre uno spiraglio per l'endurance , che possa affiancarsi se non affrancarsi dalle regole contorte FEI/FISE , dando la possibilità di indire competizioni al di fuori dalla loro egida e sopratutto al di fuori della loro posizione predominante in tema economico, senza che ne possano derivare sanzioni. I tempi per un cambiamento epocale forse sono maturi.
Lo sport non è mai finito, si è solo adeguato ai tempi. Si adeguerà anche a questo.
Bisogna vedere come chi ha i soldi gestirà i nuovi scenari.
I soldi stanno con gli sceicchi.
Se ci sarà mutualità tra leghe andrà bene.

Today European Court of Justice has just branded the position of the appellants as illegal for the abuse of dominant position, in the waited verdict that makes clear the diatribe between UEFA and FIFA against the “super league”, proclaiming that the associations can’t impose penalties to the clubs that decide to take part in alternative competitions. This verdict opens completely new scenarios that we are currently difficult to imagine. In juridical rule, that extends the application of this verdict to other disciplines, it is possible that endurance should have the chance to flank or to be free from the convoluted rules of FEI and national federations, giving the possibility to announce competitions out from their control and from their dominant position in the economy, without risking any penalties.
Perhaps, now is maybe the right time for an epocal change.
The sport has never stopped, it just adapted to the times. It will adeguate also to this.
We need to see how the ones who have the money will manage the new scenarios.
The money is with the sheiks.
If there is going to be a mutuality between the associations, it’s going to be fine.
